Work in Progress Wednesday - 10/28/09

I've been slacking! It's been 5 weeks since my last "work in progress Wednesday" post. I thought I should probably get back to showing you some of the items I'm working on.

First up is a custom order dachshund sweatshirt. Yes, I do take custom orders. I have about 1 week's worth of work on this project and figure it will take me another 1-1/2 to 2 weeks to get this finished. So far I have done the collar (with a metallic dog tag) the nose and am working on the body. Due to the bulkiness of the project I only work on it at home. It's too difficult to pack up and take to the office to work 15-20 minutes on my lunch.

Next up is a mouse pad. This item will be for sale in my shop. What I'm stitching is the insert to a fully usable mouse pad. I have several other ideas for mouse pads I'd like to get done, so once this is completed, stay tuned for more.

Lastly, this isn't actually a "work in progress". It's a finished piece but I've never shown it and it sold out from my store in only 4 days. I've purchased the materials to make more and will be working on them soon. If you would like a reserved listing, just contact me either through my blog or Etsy shop. If you click on the picture it will take you to the description of the item.

In the last 5 weeks I've also stitched several other Christmas Ornaments that are for sale in my shop. And if you're looking for a bargain, check out the items in my 50% OFF CLEARANCE section. All of my Halloween items that haven't sold yet have already been moved there.

Until the next time...HAPPY STITCHING!
