Last night I attended my first meeting of the Stan Hywet Needlework Guild since November 2008. Oh how I've missed the meetings! We had a wonderful Stitch-in/Salad Supper/Book Sale. It was fantastic to see all my fellow stitchers I've missed as well as hear about and see all the exciting projects in the works for the Stitchery Showcase coming up in October 20

I picked up my piece on Memorial Day that I'll be entering this year. I've included a pic as a little sneak-peek for you. If you want to see it in person, you really need to attend the Stitchery Showcase. It is the 1st weekend in October at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens in Akron, OH.
